The United Women in Faith Martha Circle invites all women to the May 2 meeting at 11 am in the Library. Our program is " Community Fellowship.” Acts 2:42 will be the foundation of our study: "They met constantly to hear the apostles teach, and to share the common life, to break bread, and to pray." Please bring your lunch. We look forward to our gathering!
The Youth Group will meet on Wed. 5/8, 6-8 pm. Join us for dinner and fellowship as we explore themes surrounding setting out foundations. Save the date, details to come.
Book Club’s Next Selection is Mad Honey by Jodie Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boland. We will meet on May 9 at 7 pm. All are welcome!
Enjoy the 15th Annual Gallery Exhibition of the Pastel Society of Southern CA (PSSC) in our Chapel and the Ocean View Room through May 11. Gallery is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 11 am to 5 pm. The Exhibition closes at 12 noon on May 11.
Riviera Governance Council is sponsoring a design contest for a church t-shirt! Submit your designs by May 15 to rgc@rivieraumc.com. The winner will be announced in church on May 19. Let your creative juices flow!
“Tea for Toberman Neighborhood Center” will be on Saturday, June 8 beginning at 2 pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children under 10 years. Tickets are required and will be available after worship until June 2. No Walk-ins. Please wear fancy attire and hats are recommended (hats are available to borrow). Sponsored by United Women in Faith.
We are collecting non-perishable food items for Toberman Neighborhood Center. The Pantry needs peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauces, rice, beans, flour, sugar, canned fruits and veggies. Please bring these items to the box in the church lobby.
We collect gently used and clean clothing, towels, bedding, shoes & sneakers, and toiletries for Skid Row. Please bring these items to the box in the church lobby.
